I'm producing, recording, mixing and mastering music for bands and artists as well as my own music.

If you are interested in working with me, I'm happy to hear about it. A collaboration usually starts with one or two meetings (free of charge) to outline an idea for your production. When you then decide you want me on board for your project we can get started right away.

We can work together in any studio. I have many contacts to studios all over germany and in all price ranges. As an alternative I can also come to your practicespace or we can use my the little ZAKTOP-Studio.

Producer

I will assist you preparing yourself and your music for the session and guide you through it.

Recording Engineer

I will take care of the technical stuff. Like setting up mics, handling the console, the outboard gear and the computer stuff.

Mixing Engineer

I mix both music recorded by others and by myself. You can listen to stuff on the references page.

Mastering Engineer

I can perform Stereo- and Stem-Masterings. You will receive all the masters you need for any platform/format you would like to release on.

Assistant Engineer

I assistant-engineer in large sessions from time to time to widen my horizon, learn new things and meet new people. So far I have assisted for Sylvia Massy, Arthur Rizk, Andi Bukelini, Arno Jordan, Peter Junge, Willi Dammeier, Christoph Keding.

Composer/Co-Writer

I started songwriting at age thirteen and by now have written over a hundred if not hundreds of songs and I'm still writing every week8. Most of them have either been performed live or recorded or both. Next to my practical experience I've learned a lot about songwriting from books, elearnings, workshops and songcamps. If you want me to help you with your songwriting - hit me up!

Musician

I play guitar since age seven. By now I also play bass, synthesizer and drummachines. I played in a good dozen of rockbands. When I was younger I played around twohundred live-shows in nine countries. By now I mostly make music in my comfy homestudio.

ZAKTOP-Studio

Leipzig


ZAKTOP-Studio is a little rehearsal-room-studio for my own recordings and for smaller productions. We can offer several production-styles here. Our speciality is "recordings like a polaroid". This is a workflow that I developed for fast (=cheap) and characterful recordings. It involves an 8-track reel-to-reel and an analog mixer.
